Product Description
Reveal smoother, brighter-looking skin with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner. This water-based formula contains 7% glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates dead surface skin cells and supports a more even-looking complexion. Regular use helps improve the appearance of rough texture, dullness, uneven skin tone and visible signs of aging. The leave-on toner prepares the skin for the following steps in an evening skincare routine without using abrasive scrub particles. The formula also contains aloe leaf water, ginseng root extract and a Tasmanian pepperberry derivative. These supporting botanical ingredients help hydrate the skin, improve the appearance of uneven tone and reduce discomfort commonly associated with acid exfoliation. Apply once daily, ideally in the evening, using clean fingertips or a cotton pad. Do not rinse. New acid users should begin two or three evenings per week and gradually increase use as tolerated. Do not apply to sensitive, peeling, compromised or broken skin. Avoid the eye area and do not combine in the same routine with other direct acids, retinoids, direct vitamin C, peptides or copper peptides. Because AHAs can increase sun sensitivity, use broad-spectrum sunscreen and limit sun exposure during use and for one week afterward.
